How JF cranes articulate around obstacles, and what it takes to set one up.
What is a Jekko JF crane?+
A JF combines an articulated loader-crane boom with a self-propelled crawler chassis and outriggers. The current range includes the JF235, JF545.2, and JF1050.
How is a JF different from a telescopic mini crane?+
A telescopic crane extends its boom in a straight line. A JF uses multiple articulated boom sections to reach over, under, and around obstacles with far more flexibility.
What applications suit a JF crane?+
Glazing, industrial maintenance, facade work, machinery placement, rooftop access, and any project where the crane must articulate around an obstruction.
Does a JF crane require outriggers?+
Yes. The crane must be stabilized in an approved outrigger configuration before lifting. Capacity depends on the setup, working radius, boom configuration, and lifting direction.
Can a JF use both a hook and a winch?+
Depending on model and configuration, JF cranes support hook, winch, jib, and specialized attachments. Every attachment changes the working envelope and gets checked against its load chart.
Can a JF crane work indoors?+
Possibly, when its dimensions, power source, weight, and outrigger loads are compatible with the facility. Access height and folded-boom dimensions matter most.
