RENTALS & BOOKING
One day. Most compact-crane and lift jobs run on a daily, weekly, or monthly rate, with the weekly rate roughly four day-rates and the monthly roughly three weeks. Delivery is billed separately. We lay out the rate structure up front so there are no surprises on the invoice.
For a specific machine on a specific date, a week or more is ideal, especially in peak season. That said, we keep a broad fleet in-house and can often turn around a next-day delivery in the Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley corridor. Call and we will tell you what is available.
Yes. Jobs slip. Let us know before the return date and we will roll the machine onto the next rate tier rather than penalize you. If someone else is scheduled on that unit we will work to swap in an equivalent machine.
Rent for one-off picks, seasonal spikes, or to trial a machine before purchase. Buy if you are running the same lift profile month after month. We sell the same Jekko, Maeda, Broderson, and Hyrax equipment we rent, so a rental can be credited toward a purchase - ask us about it.
Yes. We deliver across the Mid-Atlantic from Pottstown, PA - Philadelphia, the Lehigh Valley, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and New York City. Transport is quoted by distance and machine size; see the Service Area pages for regional detail.
The narrowest access point (a doorway, gate, or elevator), the ground or floor conditions, any floor-loading limits, and where the machine needs to end up. A couple of photos or a plan sheet lets us confirm the machine fits before it leaves the yard.
Our most compact mini cranes retract to under 30 inches, so many pass through a standard double door and some through a single 36-inch door. Send us the exact opening and we will confirm which machines clear it.
Often, yes. Pads distribute outrigger reaction forces and protect the supporting surface. Pad selection depends on the maximum outrigger load and the allowable ground or floor pressure: we stock pads and grass mats at $33 per piece per day, week, or month.
Yes. Send the load information, lift geometry, access measurements, and jobsite photos or drawings. We compare the application against machine dimensions and load charts before recommending equipment.
CLE rents equipment bare: you supply a trained, qualified operator. When a job requires an operator, the customer is responsible for providing a qualified operator who satisfies applicable site, employer and rental requirements. Every delivery includes hands-on machine familiarization for your crew.
Every pick is verified against the manufacturer load chart - load weight, radius, hook height, and outrigger configuration - before we quote it. When your operator is on site, they confirm ground bearing and rigging on site. We will flag a lift that is outside a machine’s rating rather than push it.
Yes. Our battery-electric and hybrid machines run zero-emission with non-marking rubber tracks, which makes them suitable for data centers, hospitals, historic interiors, and finished floors where a diesel machine could never go.
Load weight and dimensions, pickup radius, placement radius, required height, doorway width and height, travel-route dimensions, ground conditions, and available setup area. With those we can size the machine against the load chart on the first pass.
The same crane may lift several thousand pounds close to the machine but only a fraction of that at full reach. Radius is the single most important factor in selecting equipment.
Varies by machine: hydraulic and mechanical jibs, searcher hooks, auxiliary winches, glass manipulators, vacuum lifters, forks, and lifting beams. Every attachment changes the working envelope and gets checked against its chart.
Possibly, but the building owner or project engineer must confirm the slab can support the machine weight, track loading, and maximum outrigger reactions. Our Outrigger Reaction Simulator gives the point loads that review needs.
Send us the load weight, lifting height, radius, and your narrowest access point - we verify the pick against the load chart and recommend a machine. For a quick shortlist, the equipment finder on our homepage narrows the fleet from three answers.
Mini cranes from roughly 6,000 to 17,600 lb capacity (Jekko and Maeda), tracked aerial lifts to 50-plus meters of working height (Hyrax), and Broderson carry-deck cranes for pick-and-carry work up to 9 tons. Compare them side by side on the Compare Machines page.
The Resources page has downloadable spec sheets, technical data, and manuals for every machine in the fleet. If you need a chart at a specific configuration for a submittal, we can pull it for you.
Yes. We carry general liability and can issue a Certificate of Insurance naming your project or general contractor as additional insured. Send the requirements with your booking and we handle it before delivery.
Rental time is billed on the agreed daily, weekly, or monthly rate; delivery and pickup are separate line items. Operator labor is the customer’s cost and is not billed by CLE. We invoice against a signed rental agreement - no hidden fees.
Yes. We can walk you through financing and a credit application for equipment sales. Reach out and we will connect you with the right terms for your business.
